Greetings and welcome to my website!
Here I
am smiling as I watched folks seat themselves at the Well Red Coyote
bookstore (located in Sedona, AZ). They were here for my
presentation on the topic of Self-Publishing. What a thrill and a
pleasure to have been given that wonderful opportunity!
How'd I get here? Well, the passion has always been within me to
create stories and characters. And, during the many decades spent
in the high tech industry, the fictional characters dancing around in my
head refused to leave. The only thing I could do was let them
enter our world.
So, during those years, I wrote, submitted works to various publishers,
got rejected, listened, learned, gave up, and then wrote some more.
I self-educated myself on writing, drawing and self-publishing. In
1999, I took a leap of faith and quit my day job and behold! I ran out
of money and had to go back to work. No regrets, only lessons learned
and experiences enjoyed! But come 2002, I self-published my first
book introducing my adorable child clown named Peety who, gratefully,
has put smiles on many faces.
Since
then, I've successfully wrote, illustrated, and published a few other
books and am always in the process of producing more. So, be on
the lookout for another wonderful gift to share with family and friends.
And, thank you to all who have encouraged me
to fulfill my dreams!
